Pondero Winchester – Mental Health: Untangle Your Mind in the Trees

Feeling overwhelmed by stress and disconnection? Untangle your mind in the trees! This talk explores the powerful practice of Forest Bathing, a form of Nature Connection proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Discover the science behind why nature heals, and how immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest can reset your nervous system and promote mental wellbeing. Learn practical techniques to incorporate Nature Connection and Forest Bathing into your everyday life, leading to more resilience, inner wisdom, clarity and a long-lasting sense of peace.

Sonya Dibbin is a Nature Therapy Trainer and guide in Winchester and the founder of Adore Your Outdoors. She believes passionately that nature plays a vital role in supporting good mental health. Evidence shows that it’s our connection to nature, as opposed to time spent in nature, that’s more beneficial both for humans and the natural world. She spent 18 months retraining as a Forest Therapy, EcoNIDRA and Mindfulness Guide, after walking away from Seasonal Affective Disorder and becoming a winter-lover.

Pondero Winchester talks are held in the fabulous setting of the Cart & Horses, Kingsworthy, and every session starts with good coffee and networking.
