Pondero Newbury – Well-Being and Interior Design: How our homes can make us feel better
Sensory input – i.e. what we see, hear, smell, taste and touch – leads to cognitive associations being formed which in turn shape mood and positive emotional regulation. Equipped with a psychology degree, her own experiences and over 12 years’ experience as a qualified interior designer, Megan helps improve well-being in the home. In this talk, she will explain how mental well-being and improved mental health can be achieved using colour psychology theory, feng shui and biophilic design.

Megan Loughborough founded her Interior Design practice, ML Interior Design in 2013. Based in Chiswick and specialising in residential interior design, Megan is renowned for providing a personal and tailored approach to her design services. Megan works closely with her clients (who include private clients, property developers and architects) to understand their needs and style and the best design solution that is sympathetic to the space.
‘Redesigning your home should be a fun and enjoyable experience. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by the prospect as there is so much to consider, but that is where I come in, to guide them through the journey and to lead the design process so that they experience as little stress as possible whilst achieving the environment and vision they truly want’.

Pondero Newbury talks are held in the beautiful setting of The Barn at North Sydmonton House which also hosts the Honesty Cookery School. Every session starts with good coffee and delicious cake.
