Whether it’s understanding the lingo or knowing what to pair with dinner, wine can be an intimidating subject. It needn’t be. With even a basic understanding, the world of wine can be opened up and explored more readily. 

This relaxed session will break down the barriers between confusion and understanding, giving you a voice when it comes to choosing wine. We’ll take in lower alcohol wines, food and wine pairing, plus the best wines to avoid headaches and hangovers, busting some common wine myths along the way with Polly sharing insights from her decade in the industry.

Polly Gibson specialises in women-only wine education understanding the most pressing topics of the demographic. Join us for this informed but informal session and leave with a new confidence to talk about wine. 

Polly is a wine lover on a mission to never be a wine bore. A trade professional with over a decade of experience in the industry, she delivers informed but informal wine events that bring the conviviality back to wine tasting through her company Wine With Polly.  Polly is a WSET Diploma holder (one of the highest qualifications in the industry) and is a Certified Wine Educator, having trained hundreds of wine industry professionals and enthusiasts. She also enjoys a beer!
