Pondero Newbury – Foresight: Creating Relationships with Customers

Ed Ferris draws on his extensive business retail experience to show how businesses can build trust before their customers even make contact. This is relevant if you are a business looking at your digital strategy or a customer trying to understand modern marketing.

Ed started working in his family’s retail jewellery business as a teenager. He took over as managing director in his early twenties, expanding the business ten-fold over a fifteen year period. In 2013, the company became the second fastest growing in the UK. During this time, he has started multiple businesses.

Having cut his teeth in the often tricky environment of independent retail, Ed saw the value of building trust in customers. From understanding the importance of personal touches to improving your customer base through digital strategies, he has studied and used techniques which have driven significant benefits to his businesses.

Ed Ferris is now carving out a new career mentoring, investing and consulting with businesses owners across multiple industries.

We will begin the session with coffee and networking – a chance to meet with new and familiar faces at the wonderful Honesty Cookery School.

Pondero talks are run in collaboration with The Really Helpful Club.
