Dr Jo Waddell is a qualified GP with over 30 years’ experience. With multidisciplinary trainings in NLP, Hypnotherapy, TFT, Psy-Tap, EMDR and life coaching she specialises in treating clients with anxiety, phobias, lack of confidence and stress conditions including PTSD. As an NLP trainer she delivers courses in stress management, resilience, advanced communication skills and introduction to NLP for doctors, managers and health care professionals as well as corporate clients and women’s groups. She been working with Royal College of General Practitioners on resilience and stress management for GP’s and various postgraduate deaneries on training for registrars and in particular those doctors in difficulty. Now a retired GP and case manager for Practitioner Health Service, she was a GP partner at Midlands Medical Partnership one of the country’s first super-practices and a GP appraiser for 16 years. In 2012 she was a GP assistant on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies Live at the Clinic. As a doctor she has always been keen to promote patient education and believes in preventative medicine. She uses a holistic approach to health, recognising the importance of the unconscious mind for physical and mental wellbeing. She is passionate about helping people to become the best version of themselves. She is a member of the College of Medicine and Integrated Health.
