Pondero Newbury – Joy: Finding pleasure in everyday life
Joy can be found in the simplest of things but when life is busy and the demands on your time, energy and emotions are rising, it can be harder to find or easier to miss.
We often see joy and happiness as an end destination but happiness and finding joy shouldn’t be a goal, but something that can simply be enjoyed along the way. Even when life brings challenges, joy can be found in a variety of ways and when you set your mind to finding these pockets of joy, it helps make the everyday challenges more manageable.
Catherine will explore how to focus your mind on finding joy in the everyday by using your subconscious mind to be on the look out for the good things happening all around you. There will also be a relaxation section during the talk where you can enjoy some deep relaxation and allow that deeper part of your mind to connect to and be on the lookout for joy in everyday life.
